Here I Am, Send Me

 

I was watching this mini series on July 6-7, 2022 show called “Unbelievable”.  When I saw an awesome scripture, which was mentioned in the show on Episode 2 at time 21:48.

This woman detective helps those that have been assaulted, and she has this reminder on the passenger’s car dashboard "Here I am, send me." This young woman had been attacked, and you could tell even though it seemed like she was holding it together, she was using little distracts like looking around the car to help her to pass the time.

So when she asked the woman detective what “Here I Am, Send Me” meant, she told her that it was a reminder for her why she is doing the work that she does.  She mentioned that it was a scripture from Isaiah, and I could tell that the detective wanted God's help, to help those that are hurt, and to catch those bad people that have attacked them. 

She was saying to God to send her to where she needs to go for Him and herself.  The scripture she was talking about is

Isaiah 6:8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send?  And who will go for us?  And I said "Here I Am, Send me".

It's about how God shows up and is looking for someone to do His will, clean things up, and make things better, and Isaiah steps up for God to be of service to Him and do good for Him.

When I heard that, I thought wow that’s really incredible that there are people out there that have such strong faith that they can wake up in the morning and ask God (Elohim) where do you want to send me today, or ask Him to give them an opportunity to help someone in the way He wants them to.

I understand working with such vulnerable people would be a really difficult thing to do at times, but I imagine Elohim’s strength would help them to keep going, especially when things get better for the victims, as well as finding closure for them if they can, when the detective can find and bring justice to the person who has hurt them.

It really is a big thing to let you guard down and let Elohim in and completely guide you in this life, which is why I am so impressed by these types of people, as I am not there myself yet, but I am in awe that it is something that is possible to do.

I’m hoping and praying I will completely want to be like that someday, and that my Elohim, will help me get there, so I can help Him and the people out there that need His help.  I want to someday have the faith with hands open wide, to say "Here I Am, Send Me" And that Our God, Elohim, can send me where He needs me to be on that day, or set me up in the direction of where I need to go for later.

Elohim really does want you to have the faith in Him so He can guide you daily, so that you can be the best version of yourself in this life.

Don't apologize for your choices. Own them!

  On July 7, 2023 I decided to write an important post about when I got this good quote from the show Heartland SE 11 EP 14 at 42:00 minutes in.   One of the characters said to another "Don't apologize for your choices. Own them!" I think that's such a good one – that whether you made a good one or not – that you accept them and where you are at – and to not crazy stress about them – as the out come will be what it will be. Like for me I'm not exactly where I'd like to be in getting better, and I still give in so frequently to not the greatest decisions, but I know in the end I want to fully get better.   So accepting that's where I am at right now, that I may have trouble now, but that doesn't mean I always will as I keep working at it 🙂 . This is appropriate for me today, as I suddenly found out that a big food company was deciding to stop making all these quick frozen foods meals that I use at times, and I’m sure tons of other people do to....

Unexpected healing that’s happening at my childhood home

  After writing about my previous post “ Don't apologize for your choices. Own them!”   I decided to write an important post on what’s been going in my childhood home starting on later July 7& then 8, 2023.   There have been Unexpected healing that’s happening at my childhood home while I have been staying with my mom there.    I’ve noticed also that there has been mending and healing relationships with my mom and even my brother at times – And for sure Elohim (God) is here at my childhood home and a big part of the changes that have been happening.   As I mentioned S. from my previous post “ Don't apologize for your choices. Own them!”   surprisingly pointed out – not only has mom been a blessing for me with helping me – apparently I am a blessing to mom too, which surprised me.
